BioDiagnostics West, LLC a standard seed testing laboratory opened by owners, Pat Brownfield, RST, Quentin Schultz, RST, and Marilyn Schultz on May 1, 2006 has recently relocated into our newly built facility in Twin Falls, Idaho. The new facility, occupying 6,000 square feet, was designed to better serve your seed testing needs. Our laboratory can provide standard seed testing, including germination, physical purity, TZ testing, soil testing, and vigor testing on all species using AOSA, ISTA, or Canadian M&P methods. Web based reporting is also available upon request.

Pat Brownfield, president and operating manager, is a Registered Seed Technologist, past president of the Society of Commercial Seed Technologist, and brings with her 29 years of experience in seed testing with a special emphasis on quality assurance, regulatory issues, and exporting concerns.

The current staff brings a combined total of 149 years of testing knowledge with an emphasis on seed vigor, quality assurance, regulatory issues, and lab accreditation. BioDiagnostics West employing three Registered Seed Technologist has a total staff of 10 analysts, to test your samples with no waiting.

The staff is fully skilled at testing vegetables, field crops, herbs, turf grass, cereals, sugar beets, and small seeded legumes. We offer a wide spectrum of vigor testing, soil testing, QA consulting, and test development.
